We are in exciting times and opportunities for Tioga County and Develop Tioga. New community and economic opportunities are evolving, and new resources are in development. It is more vital than ever to have broad business and community participation, and diverse voices at the table to help guide our efforts and lead our strategic work for a strong and prosperous Tioga County.
We're pleased to announce that we’re openly seeking business and community members to serve on our Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity to inspire possibilities and support the Tioga County businesses and communities you love. Board transition.
With several board members' terms coming to an end this year and some retirements, we expect to add 3-5 new board members within the next 6 months. We aspire to be an organization that is of, by, and for Tioga County businesses and communities. We strive to have a Board of Directors that is inclusive and innovative, and actively represents Tioga County — this includes, but is not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, and geography. Help us ensure that Tioga County is a great place to start and grow a business, raise your family, and enjoy life.

An accomplished business or community leader with high integrity and professionalism.
Dedicated to active participation in the advancement of Tioga County’s businesses, communities, and economy.
Willing to commit the time needed to fulfill the duties of a Board member. This shall include participation in Develop Tioga Board meetings and events, and participation in committees and workgroups as appropriate.

Develop Tioga background.
Develop Tioga was founded in 1991 as the Tioga County Development Corporation. We are a Pennsylvania Certified Economic Development Organization (CEDO), serving Tioga County, Pennsylvania. We are here to promote business, community, and employment opportunities; and connect businesses and communities to the resources they need.
Develop Tioga has worked to award loans and grants to support doing business in Tioga County and assisted in connecting Tioga County businesses and municipalities with key information and options for additional funds. During just the last few years, we have connected Tioga County businesses with over $10 million to support their efforts. These funds have benefited our businesses, communities, and non-profits.
