American Airlines Partnership.

American Airlines and Wellsboro Area School District began a partnership in 2018 with a $25,000 grant from American Airlines. Students complete 4 aviation courses during their high school career which can lead to a possible appointment to the American Airlines Pilot Academy. Last year 2 students were selected for the academy and are currently training in Oklahoma at the American Airlines Facility.
