Lambs Creek Hike & Bike Trail

The Hike & Bike Trail is an easy, flat path with great views of the mountains and fields of Tioga County. Most hikers love the graffiti bridge on the way!

Mill Cove Environmental Area

Mill Cove Environmental Area is a great place for recreation and education. With hiking, fishing, hunting, picnicking, kayaking, pet walking, and wildlife viewing, this is a great location for a relaxing afternoon. Be sure to join us for our Earth Day fun too!

Sand Run Falls

Soak your feet at the base of a beautiful 30 foot waterfall after a comfortable hike through the woods. Before reaching the base of the waterfall, hikers may use the provided rope to climb down a steep and rocky 30 foot hillside.

Pine Creek Rail Trail

Beginning north of Wellsboro, this easy to hike trail extends to Jersey Shore in Lycoming County. This trail is great for walking, running, and biking. Be sure to stop at Darling Run falls and Campbells Run for some breathtaking waterfalls on your hike. Check out what's offered in Blackwell too!

Ives Run

Located off of Hammond Lake, Ives Run offers a variety of reservable camping sites, group picnic areas, a playground, swimming beach, and other great amenities. Ives Run is a great atmosphere for those looking to relax and enjoy some quality time with friends and family. Be sure to shop for souvenirs at the Camp Store during your visit too!

Wild and Natural Areas

Around 17,000 acres of the Tioga forest is set aside to preserve its natural beauty. These areas include the Pine Creek Gorge also known as the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, Black Ash Swamp Natural Area, Reynolds Spring Natural Area, and Asaph Wild Area. 

Barbour Rock Trail

This high-traffic wheelchair accessible trail gives another great view of the Pine Creek Gorge. With an easy easy loop, the Barbour Rock Trial is perfect for younger children and those looking to relax with nature.

Tioga West Rim Trail

This difficult trail is a perfect hike for experienced backpackers. The 31 mile one-way hike is especially beautiful in the Autumn months.
