Pennsylvania State Laurel Festival

Every June, the town of Wellsboro holds festivities to celebrate the state flower, the mountain laurel. The community gathers for a parade showcasing a variety of community businesses, students, musicians, and emergency personnel. After browsing a variety of arts and craft vendors, among other activities, the festival closes with the Queens pageant Saturday night. Originally created in 1938, this small town tradition has grown to become a summer favorite for both tourists and local attendees.

Tioga County Fair

The summer wouldn't be complete without a visit to Tioga County Fair. With a dairy and livestock exposition, demolition derby, food and craft vendors, live music, Fair Queen Pageant, carnival rides, and games and activities for families, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Don't miss out on this year's festivities!
